What types of scrap metal do you buy?
We buy ferrous metals (steel, cast iron, rebar) and non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminium, brass, stainless steel and cables). If you are not sure what you have, send us a photo through the quote form and we will identify it.
How is the price of my scrap determined?
Prices follow the current metal market and depend on the type, grade, cleanliness and weight of the material. Every load is weighed on certified scales in front of you and you receive a written weight ticket.
Do you offer pickup from my site?
Yes. For larger volumes we provide containers and pickup trucks for construction sites, factories, workshops and demolition projects. Smaller loads can be dropped off at our yard during business hours.
What do I need to bring when selling scrap?
Sellers must present a valid government-issued photo ID. Depending on local regulations we may also ask for vehicle details and proof of ownership for certain items. This protects you and helps prevent metal theft.
Are there materials you do not accept?
We do not accept radioactive or hazardous materials, sealed or pressurised containers, explosives, items containing asbestos or PCB, or any material that cannot be legally sold. Please contact us if you are unsure.
How and when do I get paid?
Payment is made after weighing and grading, using the method required by local law (bank transfer or check for businesses). Regular suppliers can arrange scheduled settlements.
